A nation is only as good as its people. We have seen this in history. Nations rise and fall. When the nation falls, we only need to look back and see the corruption of the people to see why it fell. Bread will not rise without yeast. Freedom will not thrive without a moral people. A nation's people need to govern themselves by their morals. If they do not govern themselves, then laws have to multiply to create safety for the people from each other. The government over-governs by its so many laws. It becomes oppressive. Freedom is then lost.
